I love my Vista but this display problem is driving me crazy! Can anyone help me out. I think I have found a solution to this problem. I was also having serious display problems with AutoCAD, and I found a forum that suggested replacing the Microsoft display drivers with drivers from the hardware manufacturer (in my case, ATI - I am running a Radeon X1300 card). Installing the ATI display driver cleared up my AutoCAD problem, and appears to have solved my Visual Studio 2005 problem as well. It's interesting that both problems with the Microsoft display driver appeared to be getting gradually worse with time.
