Hi, I have a word document that contains symbol ( ۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝۝). Symbol is ARABIC END OF AYAH When i tried to convert the word to PDF using Save As PDF Microsoft Addin, the symbol is missing. The symbols are shown as blank. Garmin mobile xt wince 6 patch download. Issue does not occurs in all systems. Most commonly it occurs in Windows XP system or Windows Server 2003 system that contains Microsoft Office Professional 2007 installed.

I have done latest windows updates. Also uninstalled 'Save As PDF' and reinstalled it again.

But it does not work. Can you please help me on this. How can i solve this issue? Thanks & Regards, Shanavas. Hi Rohn, It is working correctly when printing using 'Adobe PDF'. But the issue occurs with 'Save As PDF' Microsoft Addin while converting word to pdf. In Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, we are using this addin to convert word to pdf.

So we need to fix the issue from the addin other than 3rd party tool. In Visual Studio, we are using 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.dll' to convert to pdf. It is using wordDoc.GetType().InvokeMember('ExportAsFixedFormat', BindingFlags.InvokeMethod, null, wordDoc, args); So we need a solution that needs to be fixed for 'Save As PDF' Microsoft Addin. I'm not any sort of expert on this, but here are a couple of observations: • That character (Unicode 06DD), and indeed the entire Arabic range, is present only in some but not all of the common fonts. I see it in Arial, Arial Unicode MS, and Times New Roman, but not in Calibri, Cambria, and the rest of the newer 'C' fonts or even in Lucidan Sans Unicode. Systems with Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server probably have older versions of the font files that don't contain the proper glyphs and instead show blanks.

• The ExportAsFixedFormat method has an optional parameter ( BitmapMissingFonts, the 13th one) that causes the output to include a bitmap of the text. Try setting this parameter to True. _____________________________ https://jay-freedman.info.

Thanks for the reply. I have created character(Unicode 06DD) in Arial font in word document and it is visible(not blank).

While manually converting word to pdf using 'Save As PDF', the characters are shown as blank in pdf. V ray for sketchup 2016 crack file download. Do the fonts be changed after conversion to pdf using 'Save As PDF'? Do the converted pdf contains a different font (other that Arial) that does not support Unicode 06DD?

I have tried with BitmapMissingFonts, the 13th one as true in ExportAsFixedFormat. But still it does not work. Can you please help to proceed further on this.

I have Office 365 installed on two machines. A desktop running Current Channel (Version 1706 Build 8229.2103) and a Surface3 running Insider Slow (version 1707 Build 8326.2059) I have a converted word document that will open on the Desktop (and in Word 2007 on another machine) but not on the Surface. The document is one created ( I think) from a PDF in Word 2007 and later converted to Office 365. I have created two simple documents that exhibit the behaviour. They are available at 'Test Compatability Mode.docx' is a Word 2007 document that opens successfully in compatibility mode on both the desktop and the Surface. It has individual boxes in a row (the real document is a form).
