I have problems joining avi files with DTS sound! I used to virtualdub(official) to join my avi files.Lastly I encounter avi files with DTS sound(tag 2001)!I'm not an expert at things like codecs,video editing tools and various video and audio formats.So I wasn't aware of things like DTS or AC3.After some search I have learned a few things you know. I discovered also a modification exe of this awesome program you know as VirtualdubMod and thought maybe has DTS support.I was wrong still can't I hear sound of my avi files with DTS!(IN VIRTUALDUBMOD)!

But on the other hand I can play them very well with sound in the several players except Videolan VLC player=(I still dont know why?). I discovered that is because of the amazing AC3filter witch comes in the k-lite pack.But it doesn't work with virtualdub(mod) and vieolan vlc!why? I discovered also virtul dub is using decoders in the windows system32 folder to decode files so I searched for a DTS sound codec but was unsuccesfull! Ac3filter is not a decoder am I right? When I open the 'file information' feature in vdm I get this; Please help me if VirtualDub(mod) cannot do this is there another tool?(Video +DTS sound!!!).
